WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue faculty and staff and their families are invited to attend the Boilermaker football practice on Saturday, April 6, at Ross-Ade Stadium.
This practice, called the "Jersey Scrimmage," is the most intense one of the spring.
Faculty and staff members must show their Purdue ID and enter through Gate A at the southeast corner of Ross-Ade.
The event will start at 9:30 a.m. with access to the field. Practice will follow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with seating available in sections 105 and 106. At the conclusion of the practice, athletics director Morgan Burke and new head coach Darrell Hazell will address the crowd regarding the team's commitment to academics and being student-athletes.
Faculty and staff are eligible to receive two discounted season tickets for the 2013 football season, and the price starts at just $140 per ticket, a savings of 20 percent off the general public price.
This season's home schedule is arguably the best in school history. It includes 2012 national champion runner-up and intrastate rival Notre Dame (Sept. 14), Orange Bowl participant Northern Illinois (Sept. 28) and Big Ten Conference powers Nebraska (Oct. 12) and Ohio State (Nov. 2).
Ticket representatives will be on hand at the practice April 6 for those with questions or who would like to purchase tickets.
