WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
The Boilermakers were back at it on Monday as the football team practiced in shells for the second time this spring. The offensive line rotated several youngsters in with the first team including redshirt freshman Jordan Roos.
The offensive and defensive lines got after it on Monday as the team practiced the board drill. The drill consists of one member of the offensive line who lines up across from a defensive lineman with a pad laid on the ground perpendicularly between them. On the whistle, the two go full speed at each other in attempt to drive the opponent backwards. The drill was one of the first looks the coaching staff had in a contact drill with the linemen this spring.
The skill position players were back at it with more seven on seven drills. The quarterbacks rotated with the No. 1s throughout practice. In the drill, the defense came up with at least one interception on an underthrown ball.
Boilermaker All-Access caught up with Roos after practice to talk about the offensive line group. Landon Feichter also stopped by for an interview. Those can be seen at the bottom of the page.
