2017 Purdue Football Schedule / Purdue Football Master Plan

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermakers held their eighth practice of the spring Friday in the Mollenkopf Athletic Center. The offensive line was the focus of the day and coach Dale Williams feels like his group is moving forward.

"There has been progress since day one, there's been a lot of progress" Williams said. "We've done eight practices, and are they better after the eighth practice? Yes. Are they a finished product? No. There has been progress made by individuals and progress made by the group."

Head coach Jeff Brohm has challenged the o-line early and often during practice.

"I think they're willing and they're working hard, and that's all we can ask," Brohm said. "Right now we're not doing a ton of things to specifically help them. I want to see if they can block one-on-one, I want to see if the can hold up in certain situations. I think the tougher the situations that we can put them in and put pressure on them, as we get toward the season we can start to figure out a few things."

Despite temperatures in the mid-70s and sunny skies on a perfect spring day, Purdue went inside because of high winds and the safety of the video crew.

The team has six more practices before the Spring Game on April 8. The full list of practices, which are open to the public, is below.
