Now Airing: Purdue On The Big Ten Network
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue football season tickets for 2010 are on sale.
The schedule will feature seven home games, including Big Ten Conference foes Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin, as was well as intrastate state rival Indiana in the 86th battle for the Old Oaken Bucket.
While renewal applications will not be mailed until approximately March 8, fans can order now on-line or by phone, and Purdue is offering an incentive to those who do so. Orders placed between Feb. 8 and March 8 will receive two free tickets to the Boilermakers' season opener against Western Illinois on Sept. 11.
Also new this year is the option for installment payments for fans that order online by April 30. The installment plan will require a 25 percent down payment and three monthly payments. Monthly payments will be May 15, June 15 and July 15.
Fans that purchase a season ticket in the main stands ($259 or $37/game) will save 15 percent compared with purchasing each individual game ticket (7 games = $304). In addition to great savings in the main stands, there are other fan-friendly pricing options that include the South End Zone season ticket for $147. The Boiler Bundle is returning for the third consecutive season and features four season tickets in the North End Zone for $700.
Purdue faculty and staff may purchase two season tickets at a discounted rate of only $207, which is a 20 percent savings over the general public season tickets. Payroll deduction will not be an option this year; however, Purdue faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of the installment payment option that is available online.
Purdue students may purchase a football season ticket for $119, which includes a ticket to all seven home games and is a savings of more than 30 percent compared with purchasing student single-game tickets. Students may purchase the VIP All Sports card for only $250, which includes tickets to all regular-season home sporting events throughout the year (football, men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball, wrestling, baseball, softball, and track and field). In addition to the great savings, VIP card holders are eligible to receive special benefits throughout the year and rewards for attending events. Rewards include Purdue apparel, gift certificates and much more. Only 5,000 VIP cards will be sold for the 2010-11 school year and is the only way to guarantee students a ticket to the men's basketball home games.
