  • Ralph Bolden's 39-yard rush in the second quarter was the longest for him this season and the most yardage ceded on the ground by Penn State in 2011.
  • Antavian Edison's 20-yard reception in the first bumped his consecutive games with a catch to 14 straight.
  • Redshirt freshman Joe Gilliam made his first career start at linebacker.
  • Caleb TerBush's 14-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter his sixth scoring throw of the year. O.J. Ross hauled it in for his second TD reception of the year.
  • Albert Evans intercepted his second career pass in the end zone in the fourth quarter and returned it 65 yards.
  • Akeem Shavers scored his team-leading fifth touchdown of the year in the fourth quarter.
