  • Caleb TerBush's 52-yard pass to senior wide receiver Antavian Edison on Purdue's first play from scrimmage was a career-long for the senior signal caller. He scored on a one-yard run on the following play.
  • Edison's 52-yard catch on Purdue's first play from scrimmage extended his streak to 27-consecutive games with a reception.
  • Senior defensive tackle Kawann Short was credited with a block of Kyle French's field goal attempt with 1:16 remaining in the second quarter, marking the school-record sixth field-goal block of his career. Short previously shared the record with Roosevelt Colvin and Bobby Iwuchukwu. He has blocked eight kicks in his Purdue career, six field goal attempts and two extra point attempts.
  • Sophomore running back Akeem Hunt's 81-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter was the longest carry of his career, and the Boilermakers' second-longest rush of the season; Brandon Cottom had an 87-yard scoring scamper against Eastern Michigan on Sept. 15.
  • Sophomore safety Landon Feichter recorded his team-leading third interception of the season with 1:31 remaining in the third quarter.
  • Feichter finished with 12 tackles on the day, 10 of which were the solo variety; both totals represent career highs.
  • Sophomore wide receiver Raheem Mostert's 57-yard kickoff return on Wisconsin's second kickoff of the day was a season long for the Boilermakers.
  • Senior running back Ralph Bolden saw his first playing time of the season, finishing with seven rushing yards on four carries; Bolden has been battling to return from an ACL injury suffered in the 2011 regular-season finale.
