  • Jason Werner intercepted his first career pass in the first quarter.
  • Ryan Kerrigan recorded his first sack of the season in the first quarter. It was the ninth sack of his career.
  • Valentin's 62-yard punt return for a touchdown was the first of his career and the first by a Boilermaker since Anthony Chambers went 76 yards for a score against Penn State on Oct. 11, 2003.
  • Joey Elliott's 58-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the longest rush of his career.
  • Elliott's two rushing scores marked a career-high.
  • Elliott became the first Purdue quarterback to lead the team in rushing in a game since Curtis Painter had 60 yards on 11 carries in a 31-20 loss at Wisconsin on Oct. 22, 2005.
  • Ralph Bolden's four catches and 62 yards receiving were both career bests.
  • Torri Williams tied his career high for tackles with 11.
  • Chris Carlino finished with a career high 10 total tackles.
