2000: Started all 12 games … second on team with seven pass breakups … tied for fourth with Ralph Turner with 65 tackles (49 solo, 16 assists), including three for loss … had nine tackles vs. Minnesota on Sept. 23 … recorded career-high 10 tackles at Northwestern on Oct. 14 … recovered blocked 58-yard field goal and returned ball 36 yards for game-winning touchdown in overtime at Wisconsin on Oct. 21 … named Big Ten Co-Special Teams Player of the Week (with teammate Craig Terrill, who blocked the kick) for his efforts ... equaled career high of 10 tackles and recovered fumble vs. Washington in Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
