2001: Academic All-Big Ten … received team’s Noble E. Kizer Award (top grade-point average for the last two semesters) … appeared in 12 games as long snapper … had six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists) … one of many heroes in 35-28 overtime win at Minnesota on Sept. 29 when he got off snap with one second left in regulation as soon as officials indicated for the clock to start on Travis Dorsch’s game-tying 48-yard field goal.
