Graduate Assistant

JMichael Jonard is in his second season as a graduate assistant. He joined the Boilermakers after two years as a graduate assistant at Central Michigan.

Previous to his work with the Chippewas, Jonard was a graduate assistant (2011-12) and wide receivers coach (2013) at Northwood University. He earned a master's degree in business administration from Northwood in 2013.

A 2009 graduate in sports management at Dayton, Jonard was a four-year letterwinner at wide receiver for the Flyers. He finished his collegiate playing career ranked sixth in career receptions while owning the school record for most catches in a season. Dayton won the Pioneer Football League championship in 2007 and 2008, and he was part of the team that won the 2007 FCS Mid-Major National Championship. Jonard was named All-Pioneer League in 2009 and twice earned academic honor roll recognition.
