Mike Jacobs

Position: Graduate Assistant

Mike Jacobs is in his third season as a graduate assistant. He works with the offensive line, coordinates the scout team defense and assists with special teams.

Jacobs came to the Boilermakers from Wilmington (Ohio) College, where he spent the 2004 season as an assistant coach. In 2002 and 2003, he served as an offensive graduate assistant at Eastern Michigan.

Jacobs earned a B.S. in education from Ohio State in 2001 and played center for the Buckeyes from 1997 to 2001. He was named Academic All-Big Ten in 2001. Jacobs was a football camp counselor at Ohio State during the summers of 1997, 2002 and 2003.

Jacobs (born May 9, 1979) is a native of Toledo, Ohio.
