2003: Received team?s Pit Bull Award ? Offense (exemplified and sustained tenacity and intense play) for spring season.

2002: Moved from defensive tackle to offensive guard during fall camp ? earned scholarship at conclusion of fall camp ? Academic All-Big Ten ? appeared in 10 games, including six starts at left guard and one at center ? graded out at 80 percent or better in three games ... had season-high grade of 83 percent vs. Indiana on Nov. 23 ... started at center in place of injured Gene Mruczkowski vs. Washington in Sun Bowl on Dec. 31 ? missed Minnesota, Michigan and Ohio State games with high ankle sprain ... part of offensive line that helped Purdue lead Big Ten in total offense with 452.2 yards per game ...
