Josh Dye is in his first season as a quality control graduate assistant. He works with the defense, focusing on opponent evaluation and scouting.
Dye joined the Boilermakers after spending the 2010 season as a strength and conditioning and defensive graduate assistant coach at Ball State University.
Dye was an assistant at Albion college in 2008 and 2009, where he coached numerous players to all-region and all-conference honors.
Dye played cornerback, nickleback and on special teams at Hillsdale College in 2003 and 2005 and cornerback at Northwood University in 2002.
A native of Hillsdale, Mich., Dye earned a bachelor's degree from Hillsdale College in 2006 and a master's degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 2009. His father, Dave, as the head coach at Hillsdale College from 1997-2001 and defensive coordinator there from 1980-1996.
