Chad Brown

Position: Graduate Assistant

Former Purdue player Chad Brown is in his second season as a graduate assistant, working with the offense.

Brown wore the Old Gold and Black from 1993 to 1996 and served as an undergraduate assistant in 1997.

Brown returned to the Boilermakers from Dartmouth, where he served as tight ends coach in 2000 and 2001. He spent 1998 and 1999 at Washington & Jefferson as passing game coordinator. He coached the wide receivers and tight ends and was recruiting coordinator and head coach of the junior varsity team.

A wide receiver and special teams player with the Boilermakers, Brown hails from Lebanon, Ind. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sales and sales management in 1998 and a master’s in geography and regional planning from California (Pa.) in 2000. Brown was a two-time all-state selection in football at Lebanon High School.

Brown (born Aug. 25, 1975) is married to Jen, who also is a Purdue graduate.
