WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 16-ranked Purdue men’s basketball team closes out its pre-Holiday portion of the schedule as Tennessee State visits Mackey Arena on Thursday for a 6 p.m. ET tip.

The game will be televised by the Big Ten Network with Brandon Gaudin and Robbie Hummel on the call. Larry Clisby, Rob Blackman and Ralph Taylor will handle the radio broadcast on the Purdue Radio Network and live stats will be provided on PurdueSports.com. Purdue is looking for its eighth straight win and to head into the Holiday break with a victory for the 12th time in 13 games under head coach Matt Painter.

The Boilermakers will close out non-conference play when they return from break with a Dec. 30, matchup against another opponent from Tennessee, Lipscomb, for an 8 p.m. tip in Mackey Arena.

Looking Back
• After going winless in its first five appearances in the Crossroads Classic, Purdue won its second straight game in the annual, in-state tradition, defeating Butler 82-67 last Saturday.
• Purdue snapped a five-game losing skid to Butler with the victory. Prior to Saturday, Purdue’s last win over Butler came on Dec. 19, 1998.
• Purdue has won six straight games against in-state opponents and hasn’t lost to a team from Indiana since Feb. 20, 2016 (a span of 670 days).
• Purdue’s starting five scored in double-figures for the third time (Maryland, Tennessee, Butler).
