WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 15-ranked Purdue men's basketball team looks to start a new streak Saturday as Morehead State visits Mackey Arena for a 2 p.m. ET tip.

The Boilermakers saw a pair of winning streaks end in Wednesday's setback to No. 14-ranked Louisville in the ACC / Big Ten Challenge. First, Purdue saw its modest four-game winning streak end in the 71-64 loss to the Cardinals. Second, the Boilermakers saw a seven-game Challenge win streak, dating to 2009, come to an end. The streak was the second longest in Challenge history and the longest by a Big Ten team.

Meanwhile, one impressive individual streak continued as Caleb Swanigan recorded his fifth straight double-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. He became the first Purdue player since John Garrett during the 1974-75 season to have five straight double-doubles and just three players in school history, Terry Dischinger, Dave Schellhase and Frank Kendrick, have had longer streaks.

Lastly, Purdue will look to keep one more streak intact. The Boilermakers have won 18 straight games against current members of the Ohio Valley Conference, boasting an 18-0 record against the league all-time. The average margin of victory in the 18 games is 24.3 points per game and just two games have been decided by 10 points or fewer. One of those games came against Morehead State, an 81-71 victory over the Eagles in December 1985.

Purdue will head to the Big Apple for the Jimmy V Classic against Arizona State on Tuesday. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m., from Madison Square Garden.
