2013-14 Purdue Schedule

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Purdue men's basketball team is well-represented on the 2013-14 Big Ten Network television schedule, appearing on the network 10 times during the upcoming season the league office announced today.

In all, BTN will televise 67 men's conference basketball matchups, including four Big Ten Tournament games and an additional number of non-conference games. Also built into the schedule are six wildcard dates late in the season as teams compete for the Big Ten title. The network will carry four tournament games, which includes two opening-round games on Thursday, March 13, and two quarterfinal games on Friday, March 14.

Purdue's first appearance will come in its second league game of the season, a trip to historic Williams Arena to face Minnesota on Jan. 5. Tip time is still to be determined.

BTN will carry the Nebraska game from Mackey Arena on Sunday, Jan. 12, at either noon or 4:30 p.m. (ET) and the Boilermakers' contest at Illinois on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 9 p.m. (ET) as the second game of its "Super Wednesday"doubleheader.

After a Tuesday, Jan. 21, contest at Northwestern on BTN at 9 p.m. (ET), the Boilermakers will return home to face Wisconsin at 5 p.m. (ET) on Jan. 25 in the first of two meetings with the Badgers to be televised by the network. The March 5 contest from the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis., will also be aired by the network, beginning at 9 p.m. (ET).

A late-morning tip-off on Sunday, Feb. 2, against Penn State will be televised, beginning at 11:30 a.m. (ET) from Happy Valley.

The network will carry the Feb. 5 match-up against Minnesota, beginning at 8:30 p.m. (ET) from Mackey Arena as well as the Wednesday, Feb. 26, meeting at home against Michigan, starting at 7 p.m. (ET).

The Saturday, Feb. 8 contest at Ohio State beginning at 6 p.m. (ET) will also be televised by the network.

The six wildcard dates are slated for the weekends of Feb. 22-23 (at Nebraska), March 1-2 (at Iowa) and March 8-9 (home vs. Northwestern). Selections for these weekends will be announced at a later date.

Men's basketball season tickets are currently on sale through the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office. Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on October 15.
