The Purdue men's basketball program will be hosting a basketball clinic on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Mackey Arena. This coaches clinic will focus on offense with an emphasis on motion and attacking a zone. In addition, drills and practice plans will be covered focusing on the offensive end of the floor.
The 2008 Purdue Basketball Clinic will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast. The clinic will consist of three sessions starting at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m.
The first session, led by assistant coach Jack Owens, will focus on transition motion. Session two will focus on motion screening and be led by assistant coach Rick Ray. The final session, led by associate head coach Paul Lusk, will focus on zone offense. All coaches in attendance are invited to stay for Purdue's practice at 12:30 p.m.
Pre-registration prices are $20 for a single coach or $50 for a staff of three or more. Registering at the door will cost $25 for a single coach or $55 for a staff of three or more.
