Purdue Draws Vols in Atlantis

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Battle 4 Atlantis announced its 2017 bracket today, pitting Purdue against Tennessee in the opening round of the annual Thanksgiving event, played at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.


The Boilermakers and Volunteers will be the tournament’s first game, tipping off at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22. The winner will get the winner of Villanova and Western Kentucky on Thanksgiving Day with the finals contested on Nov. 24. The other side of the bracket has Arizona taking on Northern Iowa and SMU facing North Carolina State.

Purdue owns a 2-1 series lead against the Volunteers, including a thrilling 73-72 victory in the 2009 Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The announcement completes Purdue’s non-conference schedule.
