WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Every few days, will introduce a new member of the Purdue men's basketball team. The next feature subject is 7-2, 297-pound freshman Isaac Haas from Hokes Bluff, Alabama.

As a high school senior, Haas was ranked as the No. 9-ranked center in America by after averaging 20.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.4 blocks per game leading Hokes Bluff High School to a 27-6 record. He earned first-team All-State honors in 2013-14 after earning second-team accolades following his junior campaign.

Obviously, Haas' greatest strength is his size, as he is one of the tallest players in school history. However, other traits that have emerged over the last couple months are his work ethic and humility. He will do anything he can this year to make A.J. Hammons a better player as evidenced in his profile video. He understands his role on the Purdue Basketball team and he embraced it.

Let's get to know Isaac Haas a little bit better.
