WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Season tickets, new and renewals, for the 2018-19 Purdue men's basketball season will go on sale Friday, June 1, to both John Purdue Club members and the general public.

This year's home schedule features a school-record 10 Big Ten Conference games as part of the Big Ten's new 20-game schedule, which includes highly-anticipated matchups with Indiana (first since Feb. 2017), Michigan State, Maryland, Ohio State and Illinois. All told, the home schedule will feature 16 contests with the season opener coming Nov. 6, against Fairfield.

The most-affordable way to enjoy the greatest atmosphere in college basketball is to purchase season tickets for as little as $18 a game. Last season saw Purdue fans set a school record for average attendance (14,344) while recording 10 sellouts, including the last seven games of the year.

Season-ticket holder benefits include perfect attendance rewards, an exclusive preseason appreciation event and John Purdue Club priority points. Season-ticket holders are also eligible for a four-month payment plan with first payment made upon commitment and remaining payments made in August, September and October.

The season-ticket renewal deadline for returning ticket holders is Friday, July 20.

Already this year, the Paint Crew has sold out its student ticket allotment of 2,800 tickets in record time, but students not in the Paint Crew are still encouraged to purchase the Boarding Pass for $99. By purchasing a Boarding Pass, students are guaranteed a ticket to every home football game and will have free access to all home, regular season men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball games. Purdue students pay a one-time fee of $99 and get access to tickets all year long for no extra cost.

Students with a Boarding Pass automatically receive season football tickets, and will have the option to request or claim men's basketball, volleyball, and women's basketball tickets during a specified request window before any tickets are sold to students without a Boarding Pass.

Purdue is coming off a 30-7 record and its second straight appearance in the Sweet 16. Head coach Matt Painter returns one of the nation's most-exciting players in National Player of the Year candidate Carsen Edwards as well as a young, but very talented and athletic nucleus. The Boilermakers are ranked in the majority of the "way-too-early" top-25 preseason polls.

In addition, season tickets for volleyball and women's basketball will also go on sale Friday. Volleyball season tickets start at just $6 per game for its school-record 18 home contests, while women's basketball tickets are available for as little as $12 per game for a family of four, which comes with a variety of benefits.
