WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Ryne Smith will head to New Orleans this week for Final Four festivities, as the Purdue senior has been chosen to compete in the Hampton Hotels Men's 3-Point Championship as part of the 24th-annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships.
Set for 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 29, at Tulane's Fogelman Arena, the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships features many of the best collegiate dunkers and sharpshooters in the nation. The event will be televised by ESPN.
Among the competitors Smith will face in New Orleans on Thursday are Marcus Denmon of Missouri, John Shurna of Northwestern, Nick Barbour of High Point, Chace Stanback of UNLV and Marquette's Darius Johnson-Odom.
