WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Boilermaker fans are encouraged to come to the Purdue Airport on Wednesday afternoon and wish the team luck as it departs for its second-straight appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16. The team is scheduled to arrive at the airport at approximately 3 p.m. ET, where it will greet fans outside the terminal prior to boarding the plane. The sendoff celebration will include appearances by Purdue cheerleaders and the pep band. Sweet 16 commemorative flyers will be distributed to all fans in attendance.

Boilermaker fans are asked to follow these rules in order to allow the team and other travelers access to the airport terminal:

- Fans are asked to arrive at the airport no earlier than 2:30 p.m.

- Parking is only permitted on the North Side of the railroad tracks in the Northeast Lot (On the left as you travel south on Airport Road).

- Fans are not allowed inside the airport terminal.

- Do not jump the fences or enter any part of the runway or tarmac

- Do not block the streets or entries to the terminal

- Fans will be asked to line the designated pathway that the team will walk through when it arrives
