The Purdue men's basketball team has earned the No. 5 seed in the 2007 Big Ten Tournament and will face fourth-seeded Iowa on Friday, March 9, at 2:30 p.m. ET in Chicago's United Center. The game will be televised by ESPN.

The Boilermakers tied for fourth with Iowa and Illinois in the final Big Ten regular-season standings with a 9-7 conference record.

Purdue's finish is its best since a tie for third in the regular season in 2002-03. The Boilermakers earned their 20th win of the season with a 73-50 win over Northwestern on Senior Day in Mackey Arena on Saturday.

Purdue's 20-10 record marks the first time since the 1999-2000 season that it has reached the 20-win mark in a season.

The Boilermakers have won seven of their last 10 games, with two of those losses coming at the hands of the country's No. 1 team, Ohio State.
