Purdue Overpowers Nebraska, 79-61
Anthony Johnson scored a career-high 17 points to help Purdue defeat Nebraska 79-61 on Thursday night in the first round of the Big Ten tournament.

» After getting back to .500 in the league with a win over Penn State on Sunday, Purdue will seek its first conference road win of the season when it visits Nebraska on Wednesday.

» The Boilers held PSU to just 25.9 percent shooting from the floor on Sunday and outrebounded the Nittany Lions by nine (42-33); Purdue is 8-3 this season when winning the battle on the glass.

» Since opening his Purdue head coaching career with 17-consecutive road losses, Matt Painter has guided the Boilermakers to a 34-26 (.567) record in their last 60 games on opponents' home floors.
