Boilermakers are now 36-18 when he scores 10 or more points in a game ... blocked a potential game-tying three-pointer by Eron Harris with no time left ... moved into 35th place on the school's career scoring list with 1,117 points ... needs one assist to now become the eighth player in school history with 1,000 points, 400 rebounds and 250 assists ... surpassed 1,100 points and 400 rebounds in the contest ... also connected on his 99th career three-pointer, needing one to become 18th player in school history with 100 trifectas.
Sterling Carter buried two more 3-pointers, giving him 185 career three-pointers and 825 career points ... in the last five games, Carter is 9-of-19 (.474) from deep.
Ronnie Johnson tied a season-high with five rebounds and added 14 points and four assists in 31 minutes ... recorded his 10th double-figure scoring game of the year (8-2) and 31st of his career (18-13).
Basil Smotherman tallied a career-high 11 points, including a pair of huge baskets in the game's final two minutes and 15 seconds ... his two assists were a career high as were his 33 minutes ... has now scored at least six points in each of the last six games (7.8 ppg).
