WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -David Teague surpassed 1,000 career points and Carl Landry scored 26 points as Purdue beat Wagner 95-56 on Tuesday night.

Teague reached the milestone on a short jumper in the lane with 19 minutes left in the second half. He finished with 15 points.

Jamal Smith led Wagner with 15 points.

It was Purdue's highest point total of the season and its best since a 95-65 win over San Diego on Dec. 7, 2002.

Butler held Landry to 12 points on Saturday, but the 6-foot-7 senior reached double figures with 16:35 left in the first half of Tuesday's game. He scored 22 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the first half as the Boilermakers took a 53-35 lead at the break.
