• Purdue improved to 8-0 all-time against teams currently in the MEAC Conference ... the average margin of victory in those eight games has been 27.8 points per game ... Purdue also improved to 5-0 all-time against teams from the state of Maryland.
• Purdue has scored at least 77 points in seven of its eight home games this year.

A.J. Hammons tallied eight points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 17 minutes of action ... did not record a foul for the first time since the Wisconsin game on March 3, 2013 (19 minutes) ... went 3-of-4 from the field and over the last five games, is 20-of-26 (.769) from the field.
Basil Smotherman went 3-of-4 from the field for eight points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals ... is shooting 12-of-15 (.800) from the field in the last four games ... went 2-of-3 in the second half and is now shooting 20-of-25 (.800) from the field in the second half this year ... over the last 11 games, is a combined 30-of-41 (.732) from the field.
Kendall Stephens moved into a tie for eighth on the Purdue freshman three-pointers list, now with 24 on the season ... tied Terone Johnson on the list.
Sterling Carter went 2-of-3 from long distance and is now 7-of-14 (.500) from long range in the last four games ... also tied a season high with three assists.
Errick Peck's nine points were the most for him since scoring 12 against fifth-ranked Oklahoma State on Nov. 28, 2013.
Stephen Toyra set a new career high with four points.
