WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Nemanja Calasan scored 16 points as Purdue rallied to beat Indiana State 71-58 on Saturday afternoon. Calasan, a reserve forward, shot 6-for-10 from the field and had six rebounds. E'Twaun Moore scored 12 points, Keaton Grant had 11 and Robbie Hummel and Scott Martin added 10 each for the Boilermakers (4-1). Reserve guard Harry Marshall led Indiana State with a career-high 20 points. Isiah Martin added 14 points for the Sycamores (3-3). The Sycamores beat Purdue 89-70 last season, but the Boilermakers now have a 27-4 lead in the series. Indiana State took a 44-37 lead on a 3-pointer by Marico Stinson with 16:39 left in the game and still led 54-50 before Grant took charge. He made a 3-pointer to make it a 1-point game, a layup to give Purdue the lead, then another 3-pointer to give the Boilermakers a 58-54 edge with 7:10 left. Scott Martin made another 3-pointer to make it 61-54 and close out an 11-0 run. The Sycamores shot just 33 percent in the second half. Purdue shot 8-for-17 from 3-point range. Purdue led 22-12 in the first half before the Sycamores went on a 12-3 run to cut the Boilermakers' lead to 25-24. The Sycamores tied the score at 32 on two free throws by Marshall, then took the lead on a 3-point play by Marshall. Moore answered with a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left in the half to tie the score at 35. Isiah Martin's dunk in the closing seconds of the first half gave the Sycamores a 37-35 halftime lead.
