The win gives Purdue 20 wins for the first time since the 1999-2000 season. It also gives the Boilermakers nine conference wins for the first time since the 2002-03 season.

The victory also gives Purdue 16 home wins (16-1) for the first time in the history of Mackey Arena. In addition, it marks the 14th time that the Boilermakers have lost only one game in Mackey Arena in a season. Finally, the win gives Purdue a 7-1 home conference record for the first time since the 2002-03 season.

Today's win is the second-straight win for Purdue over the Wildcats.

It is also Purdue's first win over Northwestern at home since an 82-68 decision on Jan. 11, 2003, and gives Purdue its 115th win over Northwestern in the series history.

Purdue now stands 65-12 against Northwestern in West Lafayette.

Matt Painter's record improves to 2-2 against Northwestern. Matt Painter's career coaching record is now 54-34 overall and 29-29 at Purdue.

Purdue's all-time record is 1,529-897 after the win.

With 23 points, David Teague has scored ten or more points in 23 games this season. With sixth three-pointers in the game, he has now made three or more three-pointers fourteen times this season. He also tied his season and career highs with the achievement.

Carl Landry scored fifteen points to go along with ten rebounds to record his fifth double-double of the season and his eleventh in his career.

Chris Lutz made three three-pointers in the game. He has now made three or more three-pointers eight times this season.
