Purdue Basketball Community Clinic to Benefit United Way
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The first Purdue Basketball Community Clinic will be held on Sunday, Dec. 14 in Mackey Arena, to benefit local United Way Agencies.
Purdue head coach Gene Keady, his assistant coaches and Boilermaker basketball players will provide instruction on basic basketball fundamentals, including shooting, passing, ball handling and defense. The Clinic is open to boys and girls in the second through eighth grades from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The Clinic is free with a donation of a toy or a non-perishable food item. Registation is at 12:30 p.m. on Dec.14 near Gate E in Mackey Arena. Participants can pickup registration forms at local Burger Kingšs or Mackey Arena, and the forms must be returned by Thursday, Dec. 11. The Clinic is limited to the first 400 applicants. All boys and girls will receive a free T-shirt.
