Haveman's Career Stats in PDF Format 
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue senior Brandon Haveman was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 29th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft on Wednesday. The selection marks the first time Haveman has been drafted by a professional team.
A .399 hitter in two seasons at Purdue after transferring from Lake Michigan College as a junior, Haveman won both the overall and conference games Big Ten batting titles in 2009, hitting .422 for the year and .464 in league games. His conference games title marked the second consecutive year he led the league in batting average after hitting .444 in Big Ten games in 2008.
Haveman finished his Boilermaker career as the school's career leader in both overall (.399) and Big Ten batting average (.464).
