CHICAGO -- Every Purdue baseball game at the Gary Regional this weekend will be televised live by the Big Ten Network and also be available via BTN2Go, the network has announced.

After winning both the Big Ten regular-season title and Big Ten Tournament, Purdue opens play vs. Valparaiso in the 2012 NCAA Tournament at 7 p.m. CT on Friday. This mark the first time the BTN has carried postseason baseball at the NCAA Tournament.

With an overall record of 44-12, Purdue earned the top seed in the Gary Regional. On Saturday, BTN will televise Purdue's second game, which will be against Kent State or Kentucky at 3 or 7 p.m. CT. Should Purdue advance, it will play one game, and potentially two games on Sunday that BTN also will televise, as well as the final game Monday, if necessary. All games will be played at the U.S. Steel Yard, the home of the Gary Southshore RailCats.

BTN2Go is a live 24/7 digital extension of the Big Ten Network that gives fans the ability to watch the network live wherever they are via computer, smartphone or tablet. Full online access to BTN2Go is available to subscribers of participating TV providers at no additional charge. As of May 29, Bright House Networks, Cablevision, Charter, Cox, DIRECTV, Dish Network, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS offer BTN2Go to their subscribers. For more information, go to BTN2go.com.

The Big Ten Network carried three of Purdue's regular-season games, including the May 12 win against Michigan that clinched the regular-season conference title. The BTN also carried every game of the Big Ten Tournament.

Purdue radio play-by-play announcer Rob Blackman is expected to be part of the BTN broadcast crew this weekend in Gary.
