WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The rains came and washed away the regular season finale between the Purdue Boilermakers and the Indiana Hoosiers, a game originally scheduled for 1 p.m. at Lambert Field.

With the completion of the regular season, Purdue turns its attention to Minneapolis and the 2004 Big Ten Tournament. The tournament features the top six teams in the Big Ten Conference and is a double elimination format. The top two seeds receive a first round bye, while the third seed plays the sixth seed and the fourth seed plays the fifth. In Round Two, the top seed plays the lowest seeded team in the winners bracket.

The Boilermakers' last trip to the conference tournament in 2001 when Purdue went 0-2 in Columbus, Ohio. The last tournament win for Purdue came against Minnesota on May 18, 2000, in Minneapolis.

The complete tournament bracket for the 2004 Big Ten Tournament will be released as soon as seeding is finalized.
