WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue/Indiana doubleheader started on Saturday was suspended after just 17 minutes of play due to increased intensity of rain and continued rain during a 1:40 delay.

Indiana scored three runs in the top of the first inning during constant rainfall before umpiring crew chief Perry Costello called a for a stoppage of play.

The teams will continue the series' second game at 11 a.m. on Sunday from the point of the suspension, and then complete the series with two additional games.
