EAST LANSING, Mich. - Cold weather has again caused a change in Purdue's weekend schedule against Michigan State, this time forcing a delay of the series opener and the cancellation of the day's second game.
Purdue and MSU are now scheduled to start play at 2 p.m., playing a single game on Sunday rather than the doubleheader that was on the slate. Forecasted game time temperature is 32 degrees.
On Monday the teams will play a twinbill at noon, with both games being seven-inning affairs. Forecasted game time temperature on Monday is 34 degrees with a high of 38.
The fourth game of the Big Ten series will not be played and will not be made up per conference rules.
All three games, if played, will be broadcast in Lafayette on WLAS 1410 AM and on the web at purduesports.com, with Kyle Charters and Mark Leddy calling the action from Kobs Field.
