WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue and Ball State have mutually agreed to postpone Tuesday's baseball game in Muncie until May 9 after the forecast called for temperatures below 40 degrees.
The Boilermakers and Cardinals are now scheduled to play Tuesday, April 10, at Alexander Field and Wednesday, May 9, at the Ball Diamond.
Purdue opens its home schedule this weekend with a three-game series against Lipscomb. The home opener at Alexander Field is set for Friday at 6 p.m. ET. The Boilermakers will open midweek play next week with a Wednesday, March 28, game vs. Valparaiso. General admission tickets, domestic draft beers, hot dogs and nachos are specially priced at just $2 for all midweek games at Alexander Field.
