WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Four Purdue baseball games have been selected for live television coverage by the Big Ten Network this spring. The BTN will televise two games of the Boilers' home series against Penn State (April 4-6) and two of the road series at Indiana (May 2-4).
Two time changes are associated with live television coverage. The Sunday, April 6 home date against Penn State will now begin at noon (originally 1 p.m.). The Sunday, May 4 series finale at Indiana has also been moved up to a noon start (originally 1 p.m.). The BTN will also televise the Friday, April 4 home game against Penn State (6:30 p.m. start) and the Saturday, May 3 road game at Indiana (2 p.m. start).
The BTN is also planning to televise the majority of the games at the Big Ten Tournament, set for May 21-25 in Omaha, Neb. As many as eleven tournament games are on the TV schedule, including all in the primetime hours.
The Big Ten Digital Network, available via Boilermaker All-Access at PurdueSports.com, will remain another great source of live video coverage. Each of Purdue's 17 home games not on BTN television will be available at Boilermaker All-Access, with all but one of the webcasts being multi-camera productions with replays and graphics. The Sunday, April 20 home game against Michigan will be a single-camera webcast due to staffing issues on Easter.
Additionally, a high percentage of Purdue's Big Ten road games are also expected to be carried live through the BTDN via Boilermaker All-Access.
All live telecasts of game action on the Big Ten Network are also available at BTN2Go.com.
Fans can sign up for the Purdue Big Ten Digital Network package through Boilermaker All-Access for $9.95 monthly or $79.95 yearly. A $14.95 monthly or $119.95 yearly package is also available that gives subscribers access to all games played by Big Ten teams. The April 4 game against Penn State will mark the BTN's first telecast at Alexander Field. Purdue's lone home game on the TV schedule a year ago, April 20 vs. Nebraska, was postponed due to cold weather. Each of the Boilers' three appearances on the BTN last year were road games.
