ST. LOUIS - Cold temperatures coupled with rain showers in the forecast for Friday have led to the opener of the Purdue-Saint Louis series being postponed until Saturday as part of a 2 p.m. ET doubleheader.
The Boilermakers and Billikens will play twice on Saturday and close out the series Sunday with a 1 p.m. ET game. Saturday's action will be Purdue's third doubleheader of the season after it had just three in all of 2017, two of which were part of the original schedule.
The Boilermakers are wrapping up their eight-game spring break trip this weekend. They'll return to campus Sunday night and play all four of their games next week in the state of Indiana. Midweek play begins Tuesday at Ball State and Lipscomb visits West Lafayette for the home-opening weekend (March 23-25) at Alexander Field.
