WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The four-game baseball series between Purdue and Ohio that was scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 13, has undergone some changes, including the location of the four contests.
Due to the heavy snow that hit the Ohio Valley over the past weekend has made the field at Bob Wren Stadium on the OU campus unplayable. Therefore the series will now be played at V.A. Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe, Ohio.
The start of the series has also been delayed by one day and will now begin with a 4 p.m. contest on Friday, March 14. The Boilermakers and Bobcats will play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. on Saturday and then will conclude the series with a 1 p.m. single game on Sunday.
Purdue enters the four-game series with a record of 0-9 with six of those losses coming against teams currently ranked in Collegiate Baseball Magazine's top 10 - and five of those by a single run. Ohio comes into the series with a 4-6 record.
