WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue baseball team hits the road again this weekend, traveling to the birthplace of the John Grisham novels to take on the Mississippi Rebels in a three-game set at Swayze Field.

The Boilermakers opened the 2005 campaign last weekend, going 1-2 vs. then-34th ranked Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton. Purdue lost the first two conests, 6-4 and 5-4 respectively, before finding a 17-hit attack for a 9-3 win on Sunday.

Ole Miss is 5-3 through games of Tuesday, March 1, and has dropped two of its last three games. On Tuesday evening, the Rebels fell to Northwestern State 8-7, the game following a 1-1 weekend vs. Southern Illinois. The Rebels face Northwestern State on Wednesday afternoon in their last game prior to the weekend series with Purdue.
