Gaglianese pitched in three games, starting the win against IPFW at Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne... retired six of the first seven batters he faced in his start against IPFW, striking out four over 2 1/3 innings... worked a hitless ninth inning, inducing a 6-4-3 double play ball to close out the game two win at Wichita State... pitched an inning and two-thirds against Maryland at the East Carolina Tournament in his college debut, working a 1-2-3 seventh inning.

Gaglianese was a four-year letter-winner in baseball, basketball and football... played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Oriskany High School before transferring to Notre Dame High in Utica, N.Y.... Tri-Valley Pitcher of the Year as a senior after posting a 4-1 record, three saves and a 0.19 ERA while striking out 78 vs. five walks... earned team MVP and all-conference honors at both high schools... batted .380 and compiled a 2.57 ERA as a junior...
