Purdue Splits High-Scoring Doubleheader
Freshmen Bonner, Hunter, Madej and Parker all enjoy productive days

• Pitched in nine games, all in relief
• Surrendered only three hits, all singles, over eight innings
• Recorded multiple strikeouts in five of his nine appearances, finishing the season with 11 Ks in eight innings
• Worked a quick 1-2-3 eighth inning to earn the win in the series-opening comeback victory vs. Indiana
• Made two appearances in the four-game sweep at Santa Clara
• Also worked a scoreless inning of relief in the series finale at Cal State Northridge, a victory that ignited a seven-game win streak
