Lewis played in 13 games and started eight times... started game two of the season-opening doubleheader at Tennessee in right field and seven other games at designated hitter... started Big Ten games against Penn State (two), Michigan State, Indiana and Minnesota as well as both games vs. Illinois-Chicago... first collegiate hit was a doubleheader as a pinch hitter in the finale of the Tennessee series... went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in the nightcap of the Penn State doubleheader... reached base safely twice (walk, HBP) and scored a run in the home win against UIC... also drew walks against Penn State, Michigan State and Minnesota.
