Dellinger was a four-year letterwinner for coach Rob Reese at Issaquah High School in suburban Seattle... also played four years of basketball and football as a senior... compiled a 2.33 ERA and 152 strikeouts in 168 innings during his prep career... team MVP as a senior had a 1.23 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 91 innings... rotary athlete of the year honoree was second team all-King County in baseball and an honorable mention all-county performer in basketball... part of a 2015 Washington state championship team in legion ball... helped IHS win a county title in basketball his senior year... scholar athlete honoree as a junior.
