2014 Season Academic All-Big Ten... Amaro played in 28 games and made eight starts, all in left field... started two games of both the LSU and San Diego State series... also made starts against Rice, Butler, Illinois-Chicago and Penn State... played in a team-high 20 games off the bench, including 13 in Big Ten play... recorded three outfield assists to help Purdue lead the Big Ten through the end of the regular season... singled twice and scored a run in game two at LSU... reached base safely in all three games of the LSU series, finishing the weekend 3-for-7... recorded an RBI with a fielder's choice and threw a runner out at second from the wall in left center in game three at San Diego State... helped throw runners out at third base for his two other outfield assists... singled and scored in the finale of the Rice series.
