Pitched in 11 games, starting the midweek game at Indiana State… pitched three innings of effective relief against Ohio State and Butler… also appeared in Big Ten games against Indiana, Rutgers, Michigan, Minnesota and Nebraska at the Big Ten Tournament… needed only eight pitches to work a hitless inning vs. Michigan… pitched two scoreless innings at Rutgers… worked 2 1/3 innings of relief in his collegiate debut, the finale of the season-opening series at Texas State… struck out a season-high five vs. Big Ten champion Nebraska. Wolfe was a letterwinner for coach Kyler Rhodes at Clay City High School in western Indiana... first team all-state as a senior after leading the state with 142 strikeouts in 73 1/3 innings... also had seven wins and a 1.05 ERA as a senior... two-time all-conference honoree as an upperclassman... recorded 99 strikeouts in 52 innings as a junior... helped Clay City win a regional title in 2016... posted single-game strikeout totals of 18 and 16 as a senior.
