Career: Bounced back from early season injury problems to be a dominant pitcher in conference play ... has excellent control, and is a tough lefty for opposing batters ... provided great senior leadership not just for the pitching staff, but for the entire team ... one of Purdue?s more experienced pitchers ... has developed into a solid starter who can contribute strong innings ... spent this past summer with the Alaska Goldpanners of the Alaska Baseball League.

2001: A first-team All-Big Ten selection ... was named Big Ten pitcher of the week following a two-hit shutout at Indiana ... was also named Athlete of the Month, a local award announced by WLFI-TV 18 and sponsored by Twin City Dodge ... 71 strikeouts were the sixth highest single-season total in Purdue history ... 17 career wins are six all-time ... struggled early and was bothered by a nagging injury in his throwing arm ... returned to form beyond expectations once Big Ten started ... pitched a complete game against Minnesota on March 24 that sparked 13-game win streak for the Boilermakers ... gave up just two runs to Minnesota while striking out seven for his first win of the year ... pitched a dominant performance at Michigan State, another complete game, allowing just four hits, no runs, no walks and nine strikeouts ... picked up his third consecutive win in a five-inning outing at Northwestern where he struck out four and walked just one ... was dominant again against Penn State, but was credited with a loss ... pitched third consecutive complete game allwoing eight hits and one earned run against the Nittany Lions, striking out a season-high 10 and walking just three ... pitched six scoreless innings at Illinois the following week before giving up two meaningless runs in the seventh, finishing with another complete game, striking out nine and walking just one ... pitched his most dominant game of the season at Indiana, facing only one batter above the minimum, surrendering just two hits, striking out nine and walking no one ... had an eight-inning outing in an 8-2 win over Indiana State, allowing just one run and striking out three ... was dominant again despite a 3-2 loss to Iowa ... struck out 54 batters and walked just nine in 47 innings pitched during conference season ... made the final appearance of his brilliant Purdue career in a loss to Michigan at the Big Ten tournament, striking out two in 1.2 innings of work.

2000: Named to All-Big Ten tournament team ... went 6-3 for first winning record in three-year career ... had Purdue?s second-best ERA for a starter, 3.83, on the conference?s top pitching staff (4.12 overall ERA) ... had wins against Vanderbilt, Austin Peay, Michigan State, Penn State, Illinois and Minnesota ... stepped to the hill 13 times, all as a starter ... had seven appearances in conference play, earning an impressive 2.82 ERA with a 3-2 record ... named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week following a complete game two-hitter in which he did not surrender a single earned run ... defeated number-one seed Minnesota in the Big Ten Tournament by throwing a dominating, four-hit complete game, giving up only one run ... tossed four complete games to lead the staff.

1999: Had third lowest ERA on the squad, closing out the season at 5.47... had second most wins for Purdue this season, going 4-5 in 16 appearances... pitched two complete games including a nine inning, 13 strikeout performance in a 1-4 loss to Wright State (3/20)... notched wins against Kent (3/6), Pace (3/14), Iowa (4/16) and Northern Illinois (3/27)... had eight inning, nine strikeout outing against Northern Illinois... finished second on the team with strikeouts with 64, and first on the team with eight runners picked off.

1998: Appeared in 16 games, starting six, including the season opener at Louisville (2/21) tied for the team lead with three saves ... earned first collegiate save with tow perfect innings of relief in 10-9 win over Toledo (3/11) ... struck out five in 3.1 innings in 5-4 win over Valparaiso (3/18) ... earned first collegiate win, allowing one earned run while striking out four in 5.1 innings against Miami of Ohio (3/28) ... picked up save with two strikeouts in two scoreless innings against Ball State (4/29).

Hortonville High School: went 8-0 with a 0.35 ERA as a senior ... was named conference Player-of-the-Year as a junior ... high school coach was Don Williams.
