2017 Season
Warden started 55 games, all at second base... led the nation with 30 hit by pitch entering the NCAA Tournament, obliterating the Purdue single-season record (19)... second in the Big Ten in runs scored and 10th in OBP through the end of the regular season... led Purdue in doubles (15), runs scored (50), OBP (.425) and OPS (.863)... first Boilermaker with 15 doubles and 50 runs scored since First Team All-Big Ten honorees Cameron Perkins and Kevin Plawecki in 2012... hit the first game-opening home run by a Boilermaker since March 2011 in Purdue's May 16 win vs. Fort Wayne in Kokomo, his hometown... also homered in wins vs. Indiana and Indiana State... his ground ball to third base led to the walk-off win vs. Illinois that completed a series sweep. Joined Purdue in the fall of 2015 but redshirted as a transfer during his first year as a Boilermaker.

Previous College
Warden played his freshmen season at Morehead State University, helping the Eagles qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1993 as Ohio Valley Conference Tournament champs... played in 40 games and made 30 starts, primarily as a second baseman... finished the season with four doubles, 13 RBI, 17 runs and 12 walks... charged with four errors while compiling a .962 fielding percentage... dean's list student during the spring semester.

High School
Warden was a four-year varsity letterwinner in both baseball and basketball for coaches Ty Calloway and Quintin Brown at Western High School in Russiaville, Indiana... helped WHS win the class 3A IHSSA state title as a sophomore... four-year all-conference and all-area honoree in baseball and a three-time selection in basketball... maintained a sub-2.45 ERA throughout his prep career, while batting .385 during his junior campaign... scored over 1,000 points in his high school basketball career... helped WHS win sectional and regional titles as a junior... ranked as the 19th overall prospect and fifth best shortstop in Indiana... two-year honor roll student as an upperclassman.
