2012 Season Eichmann pitched in three games, all in relief... did not surrender an earned run over four innings... worked an inning of scoreless relief in his college debut, a win against Western Carolina... struck out two of the six batters he faced in his inning of relief at Wichita State... also fanned a pair in two innings of one-hit relief in the win against IPFW at Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne.
High School Eichmann was a four-year letter-winner at Libertyville High School in suburban Chicago... finished his high school career with a 17-3 record and 2.15 ERA, earning all-conference and all-area honors as a senior and sophomore... went 6-3 with a 2.05 ERA as a senior team captain... compiled an 8-0 record and 2.31 ERA as a sophomore... also impressed as a junior with a 3-0 record and 1.89 ERA... two-time all-academic honoree as an upperclassman... also played basketball, serving as a team captain on the freshman & sophomore teams.
