2014 Season
Academic All-Big Ten... Eichmann pitched in 28 games, all in relief... moved into seventh place on the Purdue single-season list with the 28 appearances... pitched in each of the first 10 Big Ten games and 15 total, good for third on the Purdue single-season list in league play... led the conference in appearances in Big Ten play... Mr. Boilermaker Award recipient for positive attitude... allowed only 12 of 44 inherited runners to score (27 percent)... allowed inherited runners to score in seven of the 23 appearances in which he entered the game with runners aboard... ranked tied for second in appearances in the Big Ten through the end of the regular season and sixth overall... pitched in all three games of the Rice, Illinois, Penn State and Michigan State series... was charged with a run just once in a stretch of 14 appearances from March 1 through April 11, compiling a 1.69 ERA and .140 batting average against over 16 innings pitched during that stretch... retired all 12 batters he faced over three appearances in the Penn State series... struck out a career-high five of the eight batters he faced over 2 1/3 innings of hitless relief in the win at Butler... also pitched 2 2/3 innings of hitless relief to earn the victory in the walk-off win against Butler at Alexander Field, giving him five hitless innings against the Bulldogs in 2014... worked 2 2/3 innings of hitless relief in the series final at LSU... pitched two innings of one-hit relief in the opener of the Iowa series... threw a season-high three innings of relief in the series finale at Southern Illinois... surrendered only three hits in 10 1/3 innings pitched at home, good for a .091 batting average against. 2013 Season
Eichmann pitched in eight games and started the midweek game at Indiana State... worked 7 2/3 innings of one-run relief against Butler for his finest outing of the season... his outing against Butler was the longest relief appearance by a Purdue pitcher since at least the beginning of the 2008 season... it also ranked as the fourth longest outing of the 2013 season by a Purdue pitcher; only senior starter Robert Ramer recorded more outs in a game... pitched in Big Ten games against Ohio State, Northwestern and Nebraska, working a scoreless inning of relief versus OSU... was the first man out of the bullpen in the season-opening win against Connecticut... made his first collegiate start at Indiana State but did not enjoy the same success he had against Butler.

2012 Season
Eichmann pitched in three games, all in relief... did not surrender an earned run over four innings... worked an inning of scoreless relief in his college debut, a win against Western Carolina... struck out two of the six batters he faced in his inning of relief at Wichita State... also fanned a pair in two innings of one-hit relief in the win against IPFW at Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne.

Eichmann was a four-year letter-winner at Libertyville High School in suburban Chicago... finished his high school career with a 17-3 record and 2.15 ERA, earning all-conference and all-area honors as a senior and sophomore... went 6-3 with a 2.05 ERA as a senior team captain... compiled an 8-0 record and 2.31 ERA as a sophomore... also impressed as a junior with a 3-0 record and 1.89 ERA... two-time all-academic honoree as an upperclassman... also played basketball, serving as a team captain on the freshman & sophomore teams.
